Current status

Due to circumstances beyond my control, I have closed my studio on University Avenue. While I search for a new space to relocate the studio, I am currently training clients at Flex Training Center, 675 Atlantic Avenue in Rochester. Flex is located across from the sports field of East High School. I am taking on new clients at this location.

Do you need balance in your life?

Try standing on one leg while you brush your teeth or dry your hair….having difficulty holding that foot off the floor? Chances are you don’t really try to incorporate simple balance exercises in your daily life and hence the expression “If you don’t use it, you lose it!” One of the reasons you could be so off-balance is a weak core…lose one and lose the other…good news though! You can change all of that and have fun doing it!
One thing we cannot change though, is our age…no one likes to be made aware that we are getting older each year, but let’s be realistic here….aging is far better than the alternative! As we age, we naturally tend to lose not only muscle strength and flexibility if not working on them, but our balance deteriorates even sooner, especially if it’s not being addressed in a conscious manner.

Don’t let yourself be open for injury, this winter especially, make the commitment to call Susan at The Physical Forum, LLC, and see how you can improve numerous aspects of yourself by getting things in balance! We have a special that targets getting your core stronger, getting more flexible and yes, increasing the level of balance and ability to move more confidently. Here it is:

Initially - a consultation to get to know each other and check out the studio.

Next – an hour long session to evaluate your fitness level and strengths and weaknesses to concentrate on.

And then – Six thirty-minute training sessions to start on getting a better balanced, stronger you!

Total of introductory package….$325.00

Never Fear….

We are still open and here for you! I know it’s been a while since I added to the website’s blog page so I wanted to re-assure you all that we are, in fact, still helping clients attain their fitness goals.

Since the pandemic, we have instituted some changes as to the operation of the studio and the availability of the trainers. We have been alternating the days of the week between the both of us, allowing all our clients the luxury of training in a one-on-one atmosphere that truly embodies the “personal” in Personal Training!

Whether you train with a partner or solo, the studio is transformed into your own personal gym for the length of your workout! It has always been a step above working out at a gym, but it is now one step above that! Enjoy the opportunity to access all the space and equipment without any of the distractions from other clients or trainers!

If you are curious to find out more on how to take advantage of “your own workout space”, please contact either Jameson or Susan. We both look forward to welcoming new clients, or former clients, into the studio for direction, inspiration, accountability, motivation and success with your training program.

Arm Yourself This Fall and Winter!!

Don’t let the lingering pandemic steal your fitness level again this year. Keep moving and active with whatever you enjoy. If things have gotten out of hand for whatever reason, take back control! If you’re in a bit of a funk, or not sure how to proceed, come in for a free consultation and together we can develop a plan that works for you.

Being able to work out safely with no concerns about the number of people that are sharing the gym is huge in this day and time. When you visit the studio you will not be sharing the space with anyone….it will be strictly you and your trainer - unless you are training with a partner of course.

Let’s start with some conversation and work out how to get things in motion.

Please feel free to call, text or email Susan at: 585.313.2771 or Smsphysforum@yahoo.com

What do you do to combat osteoporosis?

Learn how to balance staying active and osteoporosis symptoms.

Osteoporosis is not just a concern for your grandmother.  Sure, age has an impact on the wear and tear on our bones, however, did you know that avid cyclists are also at risk regardless of gender or age?  Cyclists that do not regularly engage in weight-bearing or resistance training exercise increase their chances of being affected by osteoporosis.

Take some time to get off the bike and increase your bone density and strength with a regular resistance training program.  You can lower the risk of osteoporosis and increase your ability to ride longer and faster without as much fatigue!  Feel better when you get done with your ride as well!  Not to mention you will have more ease with your everyday functions!

Team, partner or individual training programs for recreational or competitive cyclists will be developed by Susan at The Physical Forum, LLC to meet your needs, goals, level of fitness or experience with resistance training.
Why wait any longer?  Call Susan to set up your consultation or to get more information and answer any questions you have.
